The endangered Dreamland amusement park, in Margate, has re-opened its doors for the summer 2004 season.
Briefly the park's owner Jimmy Godden, is trying to sell the land for a mixed leisure and retail development, however thanks to the Save Dreamland campaign the historic Scenic Railway coaster was given a grade 1 listed building status, ensuring the classic ride can't be demolished.
However most of the park's other rides have been removed or sold on leaving the park in a bit of a sorry state.
Currently showman David Wallis is looking after the scenic and opening the park for the summer months with the following line up of rides

Tokens are 50p each (buying a £20 bag gives you 10 extra tokens free!) so there's no excuse get yourself down to margate and show the scenic your support
