The new issue of First Drop reveals that the Flamingo Land Booster Bike will run from the land between plaza entrance and billybob's square, launching into thunder canyon, with the twister parts of the coaster on the former thunder mountain site, before returning back, so the oposite way around to what i guessed i now think it's likely that the SLC will go where the bullet / vinatge cars were and the wooden coaster in the middle area of the park where the log flume was 3 new coasters, it's all very exciting!

Yes, I thought of your graphic when I read First Drop today. Well done! Don't know how you guessed that! I'm surprised at how similar it is to the Toverland one, just slightly bigger and faster, but that's alright by me!
If I may say so, I was correct that the SLC will be a clone of Shenlin and not a custom one!
First Drop: absolutely essential read.

well done! i can sense a problem with having the booster bike's station at the end of the entrance plazza would have made more sense to do it my way around will be interesting to hear more details on the ride (name, theme, opening date) the holiday park brochure should be published very soon, hopefully that will provide more details!

there's been some photos posted of Shenlin thanks to ATA forums for the tip off, I wrongly thought the ride would be of the same scale as Odyssey, but i can see it's just a slightly larger version of a standard SLC, the cobra roll photo looks fantastic and really helped me to put this coaster into perspective to be honest there isn't a lot of length to the track, i imagine that both this and the booster bike could be built in time for the new season with no troubles at all (if both rides are really happening this year, i've heard so many different accounts of what's coming which season) i think you're right Graeme, this is the new style of SLC-2, if you look at vekoma's other new ride concepts (like switch n go) there seems to be not a lot of length, to the rides and only really the elements involved in the route . . . i guess that's all the park needs to have in the ride, and by removing the "filler" track they can afford to have larger more adventurous elements

Yes, the cobra roll looks on the same scale as an SLC's rollover. I honestly don't think there will ever be a really huge SLC like Jubilee Odyssey again. I think Shenlin looks decently long - with a normal SLC, the ride may as well be over after the corkscrews. Shenlin has a similar amount of elements, and they look like good ones too.

SLC II/Shenlin Clone drop loop cobra roll zero G roll helix
Overall, a nice looking ride, and a better choice than another normal SLC (including the ones with slight variations) or a huge, custom one like Jubilee Odyssey, in my opinion. We are the only country with every type of Vekoma SLC! However, as it is likely we will get this in 2006, I'm slightly concerned we won't get the woodie now. I don't think it's a better choice than a woodie.

Wow there's something for the national tourist board "Come to England we're the only country to have all the types of SLCs!" lol,
I'm really looking forward to the ride, and i agree that the wooden coaster looks doubtful now,
from working in the park and talking to the guests, it seems the park has a very large group of loyal customers who come back to the holiday village every year (some come upto 2 / 3 times a year!) i can only hope that they upset this group of customers so greatly by removing the two biggest rides that they're forced to add another coaster and the woodie is built, as one oft he most affordable options!
