Check out the fantastic photos of Joyride at PowerPark in Finland on rcdbThe ride is the first of an off the shelf 47x21 Compact Coaster model by L&T Systems (so you can bet it's good value!) Looks a nice medium sized steelie, wonder if more of these will pop up in the future? Incidently this park will get a barnd new vekoma boomerang for this season (with the new style open sided trains) and a gci wood twister for 2006, definately the park to watch

The more I look at this, the more it looks like the best compact coaster design since the old Pinfaris! Many a seaside amusement park or pier could benefit from one of these.

I really agree with you Graeme, i can see this ride type offering a really smart new compact coaster for the smaller seaside parks and piers
L&T's wild mouse coatsers are $600k new, that's about £300k so just less than a flat ride from zamperla! So i can imagine the compact coaster are just as affordable
I believe Dollywood are getting a L&T compact coaster for 2005, will be interesting to see how that one turns out.

Hi, it's the guy took those rcdb pics here... The coaster is really lame actually, it has no g-forces at all. The design may be cool, but the coaster should be going 20 km/h faster to be enjoyable.

Great pictures, Lauri! It's a shame to hear the coaster isn't that good, but it's interesting to know that anyway. At least the GCI should be great!
