The founder of low cost airline easyJet, has opened an easyHotel in London, needless to say its providing the no frills service which made the airline so popular the only communal area is the reception desk, so there's no restaurant, and amazinly only 3 of the 35 rooms have windows! (which you have to pay a supplement for) the standard rooms are in capsules, like you'd find on a cruise ship and range in size from small (7.4m²) to very small (6.5m²) to tiny (5.6 m²)! all rooms manage to squeeze in an ensuite shower and toilet, a double bed, 3 hooks to hang your clothes up! and a flat screen telly with 10 channels to have the remote control to work the telly requires a £5 fee, which provides 24 hours of access to it To have maid service, and your linen and towels changed requires an additional £10 easyHotels Website

you get your room cleaned before you use it, it's just ify our staying for more than one night they dont change your sheets, clean your room unless you pay the tenner
some larger hotel chains are trying to impliment this, by offering you a green rate, you get the room cheaper if you odnt have towels and sheets changed, in an attempt to cut down on the vast volume of detergents and chemicals they use, to reduce their impact upon the environment, but so far these havent been too sucessful mainly cause it's not communicated to the guests well
